It was the great Beyoncé Giselle Knowles-Carter who once stated, and I quote – “If you like it, then you shoulda put a ring on it”. Well, Queen B, you are right, and I did.
I am incredibly proud to announce that my best friend and I got married today.
I’ve known Marsha since 1999, meeting behind the scenes of “Kids Talk Sports” on New England Cable News. From the first moment, I had a huge crush on her – and she had self-esteem and self-worth and didn’t have a crush back on the pimply-faced 9th grader across the conference room table from her.
Luckily, we maintained a friendship for many years, and struck up a relationship a full 11 years later.
We got married at a beautiful spot in Boulder City overlooking Lake Mead, surrounded by friends and family, and I genuinely couldn’t be happier.
