Interview…Or No Interview?

WATERFORD, CT – Way back when, all productions, whether they were movies or television shows, were generally shot in Los Angeles or New York City.

Well, times have changed, and tax breaks have productions scurrying around the country. One such example? “Deal Or No Deal” has moved from it’s Los Angeles studios to a basement in Waterford, CT. I kid you not. (30% tax breaks are enough to trade sunshine for…well…Waterford.)

Now filming on a stage at Sonalyst Studios, “DOND” now films less than an hour away from where I co-host “The Rhode Show”. So on a dreary Friday, my crew and I headed down to talk with “Deal” host and overtly-sterilized comedian, Howie Mandel.
