Behind The Scenes of “Wheel Of Fortune”

BOSTON, MA – I’ve lived in a few different places (Boston, Las Vegas, and Providence being those few) and no matter where I am, or how old I become, I know two things in this crazy world have yet to change for me: “Wheel Of Fortune” is on at 7pm and Vanna White is gorgeous.

Well, it was with no trepidation that I gleefully skipped like a school girl went to the Boston Convention Center to go behind the scenes of “Wheel” during it’s Boston road trip.

Much like most sets you see on television, Wheel’s stage is miniscule. But the wheel? The wheel is heavier than it looks. The wheel and the base are a few thousand pounds, and spinning the wheel should probably require a back brace.

I got the chance to interview Vanna, Pat Sajak, Executive Producer Harry Friedman, and LEGENDARY announcer Charlie O’Donnell. Plus, I caught up with a Rhode Islander (who is going to college at the University of Delaware) to see how big his payday was! Check out the video!
