I’ve been very fortunate to work weekly with highly respected entertainment and gossip columnist Norm Clarke from the Las Vegas Review Journal. He comes onto “The Morning Blend” every Thursday to spill any dirt he has around town. But this time, Norm has pulled me into one of his projects!

“Conversations With Norm” began tonight at Cabaret Jazz inside The Smith Center, and Norm has invited me to MC the series. The sit-down interview is “Inside The Actor’s Studio” for Las Vegas performers, with questioning being opened up to the audience towards the end of the program. His first guest tonight? Terry Fator, whose show I happen to play a small and inconsequential role on (haha).

Terry’s story is ridiculous. Truly, you would never know, seeing his incredible ventriloquist/singing/comedy show at The Mirage that he grew up in a household with essentially a cult-leader for a father. Really mind-blowing stuff. Norm did an amazing job with the interview, and going into the crowd, they had some equally great questioning as well!

The series is expected to be quarterly with ticket sales going to fund The Smith Center Education Fund. It is a total honor to be included in this project, at such an awesome venue. Very, very cool.

Not to mention it helps to be on the good side of the city’s most notorious gossip columnist. Just saying.
