It all started with a failed MySpace date in 2005. That is how my crazy career path led me to Las Vegas and Mix 94.1.

Over a decade later, and I have been thrown the spare key to the station. Earlier this week, my PD Jonathan “J Love” Campbell announced that he has bestowed upon me the honor of being the Assistant Program Director of a station I have had the utmost respect for.

2016 started off scary. J Love was diagnosed with throat cancer, and the few months of training, along with some assistance from former Mix PD Charese Fruge and former CBS Radio Las Vegas VP of Programming Cat Thomas, provided me the tools to keep the station afloat in his two month absence.

To be given the trust to help keep the station on track (and be a general pain in J Love’s butt) is humbling. Mix 94.1 is where I’ve grown. I love this brand, this station and its people, and the market we serve. J Love’s training and trust has put me in the position to help him and the station going forward.

A huge thank you to everyone that has been a part of my journey so far at KMXB… And here is hoping 2017 is a big year!
